Senior Systems Engineer - Power Electronics, Analog/Mixed Signal
Description:
We are looking for talented, experienced Power Management IC Systems Engineers to define leading edge Mixed-Signal Power Management Control IC’s and pioneering digital power techniques. Significant expertise in both power managment and experience in IC’s/Semiconductor definition is required. We are looking for someone presently in the Power Management IC arena and working as a Systems Engineer, Designer or Applications Engineer who wants to be innovative and instrumental in creating the next generation products.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform analysis and simulation of new power control and management techniques
- Develop hardware to support the development, verification, validation and customer demonstration of new power management solutions
- Working with Customers and the industry to innovate, define and architect Power Management IC’s
- Well documented analysis and communication to drive the Engineering teams
- Full ownership of the definition
- Playing a leading role in the industry by presenting at, or attending standards meetings, conferences etc.
- Validate early silicon and solutions at the Power System level including design, test and debug of power systems using our IC’s
- Providing initial customer support and customer presentations
- Training key customers and our FAE’s on-site
Qualifications:
- BSEE/ME/PhD or equivalent with 5 years of related experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate, document and patent ideas
- Very strong analytical skills and innovative attitude
- Knowledge of system level simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and PSIM
- Experience designing power conversion solutions including PCB design
- Ability to meet and communicate well with customers
- Be willing to travel as needed
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
