Senior Electronics Test Technician
Description:
CHiL Semiconductor is looking for a Senior Electronics Test Technician working in support of Design Engineering and the completion of Design Evaluation Testing.
Responsibilities include:
- Testing (and troubleshooting) complex electronic assemblies and circuit boards to the component level with only occasional guidance from other technical personnel
- Understanding design and operation of the assemblies to be tested from complex electrical schematics and other documents A
- Assemble, disassemble, and repair units and circuit boards to company standards
- Perform tests on a variety of computer products using written and electronic documentation with a minimum of supervision
- Accurately track work activities, record test data and results, and format and organize information to expectations
Qualifications:
- AS degree in Electronics or equivalent training and experience are required
- Experience in use of general purpose test equipment such as DMMs, power supplies, and oscilloscope for electronics testing and troubleshooting is required
- Experience with PC architecture, specially power train and switching voltage regulators would be as asset
- Prior experience setting up test bench automated data collection capability is desired
- This candidate must be able to work independently
- Must be familiar with MSDOS, Windows, and X86 based designs
- Must be a quick learner and have knowledge of computer software (Excel, Word, etc)
