David AronoffDavid Aronoff

David Aronoff is a General Partner at Flybridge Capital Partners whose investment interests and experience include the semiconductor, enterprise systems, and security sectors.

Prior to joining Flybridge in June 2005, David spent nearly a decade focusing on early-stage investing at Greylock Partners where he led several of the firm’s successful investments in the communications and systems markets.

David holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Vermont, an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Shankar ChandranShankar Chandran

Shankar Chandran focuses on technology investments for Panorama Capital. He has held various engineering, business development, and management roles at Applied Materials and has been granted six patents in semiconductor technology.

Shankar holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from the Institute of Technology, BHU (India), an MS in Materials Science from Arizona State University, and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ronald ChwangRonald Chwang

Ronald Chwang is the Chairman and President of iD Ventures (IVA). Previously, Ronald was president and CEO of Acer America Corp and also held positions at Intel, and Bell Northern Research.

Ronald received his B. Eng. Degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Sean Dalton is a Managing General Partner at Highland Capital Partners investing in communications infrastructure and semiconductors. Sean has been recognized by the prestigious Forbes Midas List as one of the top venture capitalists in the industry.

Sean holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Marco IansitiMarco Iansiti

A recognized leader in both Academics and the industry, Dr. Marco Iansiti is both the Director of Research and a David Sarnoff Professor at the Harvard University Graduate School of Business, where he focuses on technology management, operations management, strategy and innovation.

Dr. Iansiti has been teaching at Harvard Business School since 1989, just after completing his post-doctoral work as an IBM Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Harvard, and has also served as a consultant and advisor to dozens of companies during this period

Dr. Iansiti is the co-founder and serves as the Chairman of the Board at Keystone Strategy Inc., a management consulting firm founded in 2003, focusing on strategy and expert consulting. Keystone today has offices in San Francisco and Boston, and a number of clients among the Fortune 1000, advising in the areas of antitrust and intellectual property, as well as technical strategy.

He earned his degree in Physics in 1983 and his Ph.D. in Physics in 1988, both at Harvard University. He has authored two books, dozens of papers, and has served as a board member for various companies in the technology sector.

Tom MacdonaldTom Macdonald

Mr. Macdonald is currently a vice president of Intel’s Architecture Group and general manager of the Platform Components Group, where he is responsible for Intel server, workstation, and storage chipsets, firmware, and platform technologies. He previously served as general manager of Intel’s Advanced Components Division. Mr. Macdonald has been marketing director for the Intel486™ processor family, the Intel® Itanium® processor family, and for the Intel’s Server Group, where he was responsible for all platform and product marketing and planning, including launching Intel’s first server-optimized processor, the Intel® Xeon® processor. Mr. Macdonald joined Intel in 1988.

Mr. Macdonald received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society for engineering, and the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for business.

Ram SudireddyRam Sudireddy

Ram Sudireddy leads the CHiL Semiconductor team with nearly two decades of semiconductor experience, including the co-founding, development and successful acquisition of Cimaron Communications by AMCC in 1999. He is an experienced entrepreneur with a specialty in building strong leadership teams and creating leading edge products in exceptionally short timeframes. His vision is to position and lead CHiL Semiconductor to be the leading power management IC solution provider.

Most recently, Ram was Senior VP and GM at AMCC’s Framer Products Division. Prior to that, he successfully co-founded and was the CEO at Cimaron Communications and held key Design Engineering positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories.

Ram holds a BSEE from Nagarjuna University in India as well as an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Sonovi Technologies, a provider of business continuity software products.
